Fairfield Blues, Brews & BBQ Cook-Off April 18, 2026

The City of Fairfield will host its fourth annual “Blues, Brews & BBQ Cook-Off” event on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from noon-4 p.m., in downtown Fairfield on the County Green at the corner of Texas and Jefferson streets.

Will you be Fairfield’s next BBQ Master? Enter the chicken or rib categories, or both! One fee covers all entries. Rib entries will automatically be entered in the People’s Choice category and juried judging will be based on Kansas City Barbecue Society rules.

Attendees may purchase local fare from BBQ and other types of food trucks and a great variety of craft beer and wine, while grooving to live music of the Delta Wires. Tickets for the event are on sale now for $10 and will be $15 at the door.

Purchasing a VIP ticket will get you a plateful of saucy, flavorful contestant BBQ ribs, two adult beverages (21 and over please), and the chance to vote on the best ribs! VIP’s will also enjoy prime shaded seats near the action and a luxury restroom. VIP tickets sold out last year, so get yours early!
